The Arena has seating for up to 1,850 spectators. The University describes it as the country’s first indoor venue purpose-built to meet the needs of wheelchair athletes. It hosts elite-level sport as well as comedy shows and concerts, so check your event details before setting off.

How do you get to the arena from central Worcester?

Event access, facilities and parking
The Arena has a dedicated car park with 286 spaces, including 27 accessible spaces. Parking is listed at £6 per car per day. If that car park is full, use a nearby University of Worcester car park or a City Council car park.
Severn Campus also has 200 car parking spaces, a drop-off zone for cars and coaches, dedicated accessible parking spaces and 100 electric vehicle charging points. Check which parking arrangements apply to your event before you travel.
The Arena’s front entrance has automatic doors and a 175 cm-wide opening, with level access from the entrance to reception. Reception has a portable induction loop, and staff are trained to use it.
Planning an overnight visit
If your event finishes late, staying nearby gives you a straightforward walk back rather than a trip across the city. You can also make time for Worcester’s centre before the event; this one-day Worcester itinerary covers a walkable route through the city.
For a simple plan, check your event information first, then choose your route and parking option. The Arena’s bus services, parking arrangements and charges can change, so check the official site before you go.
